{"id":1764,"date":"2023-12-15T16:49:36","date_gmt":"2023-12-15T14:49:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.studiobriola.it\/?p=1764"},"modified":"2023-12-15T16:49:43","modified_gmt":"2023-12-15T14:49:43","slug":"artificial-intelligence-act-agreement-reached-to-regulate-the-use-of-artificial-intelligence-in-europe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.studiobriola.it\/en\/news\/artificial-intelligence-act-agreement-reached-to-regulate-the-use-of-artificial-intelligence-in-europe\/","title":{"rendered":"ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ACT: AGREEMENT REACHED TO REGULATE THE USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN EUROPE"},"content":{"rendered":"[vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">\ud83d\udd37 The European Parliament and the Council have reached a first agreement on the proposal relating to the regulation of the use of Artificial Intelligence systems.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The European Union, after China, will therefore be the first country to equip itself with a regulatory framework on the matter.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">\ud83d\udd35 Following the political agreement, the ball then passes to the technicians for the drafting of the definitive text, which could see the light around mid-2024.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">\ud83d\udd37 The Artificial Intelligence Act aims to combine the need for AI systems placed on the market to be able to guarantee fundamental rights and EU values, with the aim of stimulating investments and, therefore, cutting Europe<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">an industry-leading role.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">\ud83d\udd35 The basis always seems to be that of a harmonization, i.e. an ex ante protection which takes the form of processes for measuring the level of risk that AI systems can present with respect to fundamental human rights.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The greater the risk, the more stringent the rules.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">\ud83d\udd37 In a note from the European Parliament we read that &#8221;
